Sound of Metal was one of the best movies I've EVER seen. The acting: incredible. The sound edits: superb. The storyline: heartwrenching. And yes lots of angry moments but why wouldn't there be? Riz did an amazing job. He and the movie both deserve the Oscar hands down. 🙌🏼

The first time I even heard the *word* "Mank" was when the nominees were announced. It never came up in my Netflix recommendations, I never heard or saw anybody talking about it,....hell, I didn't even know Herman Mankiewicz had a nickname (despite knowing exactly who he was & having seen several of his films).
